We didn't stay at the farmhouse but visited the restaurant. The food was amazing !! Wholesone food grown and prepared onsite, the epitomy of ' km 0'. The quantity of food presented to us, a couple, was exaggerated, we could have fed a small village . But then in true farmhouse style it was the cheapest meal in all our stay in Sicily. Loved it but make sure to go really hungry.

Simple but delicious set menu- no fuss. Beautiful surroundings, great olive oil and a carafe of wine. There was so much food, we had to decline a course. Highly recommended, for the whole family

Honest rustic food, generous portions, there is no menu they just serve pasta and meat dishes of the day with a carafe of home made red wine. Ricotta stuffed ravioli and Italian sausage were delicious. Good value.

Real. Genuine. Authentic. Italian. Italy is thankfully filled with local establishments that fall under the category "Agriturismo" which means that they grow their own food. It also means that you won't find any other restaurant serving this authentic food. This is more than true for Agriturismo Colle del Sole which is pretty much as Italian as you can get. Atmosphere is simply fantastic in the rolling hills of Scicli, it may be a bit rustic but so is Italy when it is at its very best and Colle del Sole is truly one of the best. Make sure to be absolutely famished or else you'll be overwhelmed by the sheer quantity and quality of various dishes served in the fixed menu that they offer. This is one of those gastronomic experiences that is worth a detour. Take your time, good food deserves it. Bring all your friends but make sure to either come early when they open or make a reservation because this place is generally full despite being in the very middle of nowhere. Do not miss this opportunity of an authentic Italian gastronomic experience!

Firstly, this place is amazing! All the dishes they serve were so tasty. You could tell from the taste that the vegetables lived a good life, had a healthy soil, nutrients and sunshine etc. The amount of food they serve is enormous, considering the good quality, the price they charge is so little. Its a must go, definitely!

Abundance of fantastic, locally grown and produced Sicilian food. If anything, there was a bit too much for two people to handle. The service was honest and the waiter made sure there was something to feast on at all times. Definitely worth the drive and each euro.

Good home cooking. Very generous servings. Lovely atmosphere. Especially enjoyed watching the comings and goings around the swallows’ nest in the restaurant.
